Psalm 119:1-8 (NASB)

1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the law of the LORD.

2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies,
Who seek Him with all their heart.

3 They also do no unrighteousness;
They walk in His ways.

4 You have ordained Your precepts,
That we should keep them diligently.

5 Oh that my ways may be established
To keep Your statutes!

6 Then I shall not be ashamed
When I look upon all Your commandments.

7 I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.

8 I shall keep Your statutes;
Do not forsake me utterly!

Prayer for Psalm 119:1-8

1 Lord, how blessed are people of integrity, the ones who follow Your instructions, their ways are blameless!
2 Blessed are those who obey Your laws and search for You with all their hearts.
3 They do not compromise with evil,
and they walk only in Your paths.
4 You have charged us Lord that we should keep Your commandments and keep them carefully and keep them diligently.
5 Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect Your decrees Lord!
6 Then I will not be ashamed when I compare my life with Your commands.
7 As I learn Your righteous regulations and judgments I will thank You, by living as I should!
8 I will obey Your decrees and statutes. I trust You to not give up on me!

Psalm 119:9-16 (NASB)

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.

10 With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.

11 Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.

12 Blessed are You, O Lord;
Teach me Your statutes.

13 With my lips I have told of
All the ordinances of Your mouth.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.

15 I will meditate on Your precepts
And regard Your ways.

16 I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.

Prayer for Psalm 119:9-16

9 Lord, You have made it clear how a young person, how any person, can stay pure, by obeying Your word.
10 With all my heart I have sought You, don’t let me wander from Your commands.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
That I might not sin against Thee.
12 I praise You, O Lord; teach me Your decrees and Your statutes.
13 I recite aloud all the ordinances You have given us.
14 I rejoice in Your laws as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts and reflect on Your ways.
16 I will delight in Your statutes Lord.
I will not forget Your word.
